Back in the day they didn't have free shipping and I remember I had to pay a lot to get an item sent over =/ Like nearly the cost of the item lol.

Nowadays it's good knowing that there are sites like these around where you only have to think of the item, not the shipping. There's only few that do this. I wouldn't care if they raised the price a little because I know I'm getting what I'm paying for.

I bought one thing from CD Japan once. That's because it was Hanson, and Japan got their new CD first. It came within a week, and before the concert! It's a great site. But 3 dollars off isn't that much, but hey it's better than nothing right?

Both CDjapan and Yesasia always have kool stuff, but i haven't used them in years... thanks for the update though i'm going to have a little poke around now haha

i had a question about CDJapan. Do they have Japan Version CD's? because on Yes Asia i noticed the difference between OVerseas and Japan and i like the Japan version better. That and My bank no longer allows overseas purchases.

From my personal shopping experience...

YesAsia is MUCH more affordable than CDJapan!
They have a regional store located in California (or at least that's what the return address shows on my orders) so the delivery is much quicker! Sometimes they ship it out from HK but it's still more affordable than buying from Japan!

It's very difficult getting or finding discount codes from YesAsia, though!

The shipping cost is ridiculously costly if ordering from CDJapan and it takes longer to ship!
The yen is currently VERY strong against the dollar so their prices will be high!
Forget about their points purchasing system! You'll need 100 points minimum to exchange it for $10 USD!

If you can afford a trip to Asia, pick up as many music CD's that you can afford while you're there.
It's almost the same price due to the exchange rate but you save on shipping costs! Some times you find bargains if the store is having a Sale! That's what happened when I traveled to HK! Woo-hoo
