Forum rules


Brief Introduction

Here is where you can show the world just how creative and talented you all are.
This is a monthly competition that will allow you to release the artistic virtuoso in you and create something amazing.

How does it work?

On the 1st of every month the theme and the medium of the pieces for the month's competition will be posted.
After that you you will have until the 20th to create your entry and PM the link to Manami and Ingzels.
You can upload your art to a site like http://tinypic.com.

On the 21st, all of the entries will be posted in the forum and people will have until the end of the month to vote for their favourite artwork.
The winner will be announced on the 1st of the next month as well as the next competition.

Prizes

The winner of the monthly competition will have their rankname changed to "Artist Of The Month" and will be given 5 stars during the next month.
Also your name will be immortalized in the Hall of Fame.

Competition Rules

  • Must be own work. (Cheaters will be banned from future competitions.)
  • Must remain within the theme and medium set in the competition.
  • Must not be slanderous or defamatory.
  • Must comply with general forum rules.

The first competition has started!

Welcome to the first monthly artist's corner competition.

This month's theme is "Your Country and Culture".

We want to see photographs that you feel best represent an aspect of your country and it's culture (one photo per person!).

No photoshopping of photos will be allowed. The photos must be your own unedited work.

You will have until the 20th to submit your photos and submit them to both Ingzels and Manami. Either send us a link to your photos or use http://tinypic.com to upload them.

After the 20th the photos will be posted and open to voting until the end of the month, at which time the winner will be announced.

The winner will be given the title "Artist of the Month" with 5 stars and will be the first to enter the Japani Artist Hall of Fame.

Good luck to everyone, if you have any questions feel free to ask either Ingzels or myself.

If you had access to my slide film from Alaska you could easily put up a fantastic fight in the contest. Alaskan cruise...but Dutch Ship ;)

YIKES!!!! Pentax 50 f/1.4 was nice to play with, but that is going...so I guess I might pull some medium format if it is even possible.....

It is also possible that I could take my brother's Pentax MX on a run too!!
