I spent like 3 hours going through a wiki galore of games, lol yea. Gametrailers.com is awesome too. I'm getting a PS3 soon so yea. I love playing this stuff, turn off the lights and pump up my 5.1, you know? I love good story telling too, the whole thing. Anyways I thought I'd share some games that really, really look good. Some worth renting, some worth checking out and some.. you just have to buy. xD
Note: I'm only talking about games that aren't out yet,
so hopefully I can introduce you to some new ones.

Resident Evil 5 March 13th 2009
This just.. wow. If you thought RE4 was good wait till this comes out. The gameplay footage looks amazing, co-op online, bloody gore, it's just unbelievable. Please do yourself a favor and check this out!
Socom Confrontation October 14th
Aahh, one of those few games I remember playing so much.. like a lot a lot. Anyway! It seems like they're going for a very realistic game here, it almost feels like Black Hawk Down.
Killzone 2 February 28th 2009
Last years E3 showed some pretty badass footage of what K2 will actually look like, and it looked sweet. Like real eye candy sweet. Ever since that day it's been on my list. xD
Resistance 2 November 4th
Again E3 showed an in-game demo and it was impressive.
This huge, huge thing just grabbing you and your like trying to shoot it! And..!
Yea. It was epic.
Project Origin October 31st
Ooooh, know what this is? F.E.A.R. 2, that's right. That game was S-I-C-K, a classic. It's one of the few games that really scared me, seriously. And this just takes it to the next level.
Last Remnant November 20th
Last Remnant was one of the new RPG's Sqaure Enix announced. And I'm interested in this one because it looks really great for a new comer, plus I like how it's going to be play out more like a traditional RPG.
Midnight Club Los Angeles October 7th
Of all racing games out there, I had most fun with the Midnight Club franchise. I got memories with MC2. It stood out from the crowd and it was just original and fun. By the way I hear they're using the GTA IV engine for this game, so expect some good looking models.

I'm sure you heard of this. The ultra cutesy but omg it's so fun game? With the idea of user generated content, like players making their own run through maps. Trust me this is a very cute, innovative and addictive game. Check this out, you won't regret it. However it is a PS3 exclusive
Dead Space October 27th
Now THIS is the horror game to get. This is like Doom meets Event Horizon, and throw in the director of Saw to boot. For anyone who got the kick out of Resident Evil 2, please try this out. It's a very cleverly made game with sci-fi and horror making a sweet mix.
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm November
Gotta love me some Naruto. This though looks stunning, not to mention the dual audio they'll have in here, so were get those original voices with subtitles. The game looks so much like the anime it's not even funny, see for yourself. It's not a Shippuuden game but it looks good.
Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. Q1 2009
Ok sure Ace Combat would blow this out of the water but one thing I thought AC didn't really have was that adrenaline rush and action punch. H.A.W.X. looks promising and I'm hoping it'll have some of the things AC didn't have.

It looks like a generic B-game of a shooter.
But all that wackyness and crazy beasts look kinda fun.
Star Wars: Force Unleashed September 16th
Ok probably better than a rental with the hype surrounding this, you decide.
It looks really promising so far, both graphics and action looking epic. ^^
Silent Hill Homecoming September 30th
I've never played any other Silent Hill's but this looks.. eerie. I like eerie. Eerie scares me.
Tomb Raider: Underworld November 18th
Again I've never played with Lara, but for once it looks like it might be decent this time.
Mirror's Edge November 11th
Now this seems really unique, especially the gameplay. It's a constant flow of actions and aerobatics with some clever first person camera. It's unique.
Far Cry 2 October 31st
This looks a lot like the first one, with those amazing graphics but better. More action and always a different experience every time you play. Nothing special about this for me, just another fun FPS.
Valkyria Chronicles Fall
This should get your attention.. it's an anime styled war epic. Defiantly not an FPS but more like a turn based combat with RPG elements. The story looks pretty engaging too.
Games You Can Expect Next Year
Rage
Rage looks your in this isolated desert town, nasty mutant dudes beating people up and some wicked dune buggie racing. How all this will come together, I don't know.
I Am Alive
Alive had one of the best trailers at E3. It looks very Cloverfield style with the whole sudden catastrophe thing happening, and one ordinary guy trying to survive.
inFamous
This has been getting a lot of hype recently. The comic book style, good or bad choosing guy with powers is a good idea alone. That mixed up with some good old roaming, reminds me a little of Crackdown.
Dark Void
Some very unique FPS and third person action in this one. You have a jet pack that you put to good use and get to do some serious hijacking on wicked ships and stuff. This is picking up a lot of hype as we speak.
