final fantasy and kingdom hearts only now, at least now we can get new series faster but no more new games that was the only thing that kept this ancient company fresh.

I'm currently playing FFVII: Crisis Core on PSP (which explains why I haven't been online at all - haven't turned on computer since last week).

I'm on the final chapter! (I think), where Zack (me) is in Genesis' lair.

I thought it was a stupid RPG game (turn based) but after playing it for an hour I was addicted! It had a cool 'hack/sword' feel to it as well as incorporating 'turn based' elements. Played it all day and all night. It's a really really good game. Minor things such as backgrounds/surroundings all fall into place during battles, such as the backgrounds show during special moves, for example Sepiroth's Octoslash on the cannon/bar)

The animations were awesome. The music/sound is the best I've ever heard on a PSP, but the best of all was the storyline and the whole 'Final Fantasy' world.

I thought Monster Hunter was a cool game, but this one is waaayyy better.

Square Enix FTW. I hope some of the employees leave and create their own company and create new games, or form a branch from the original company. That way they can get new ideas into new games and create new series.

I wish they had some sort of materia or item that repels monsters -_-, like in GS if I remember correctly.

square enix is good but, mainstream games only would lose some appeal to the company.

The World Ends With You is an awesome game for the ds, there wont be a sequel for that or any future games that would bring so much quality of entertainment.

More FF ports from old consoles?

Hmm did any of you watch the E3 confrences this year? Square still has non FF games coming. Like Last Remnant(which I'm looking forward to) and they have to make another Drakengard at some point.heh I love those games. And you know the Mana series will come back to consoles at some point. Also Star Ocean: The Last Hope is coming out next year. I know Star Ocean is an Enix brand but since it's Square-Enix now I didn't know if that article was just talking about Square in-house projects or not.

Yea I'm really looking forward to Last Remnant too, it looks promising.

yeah but FFX-2 is the only one (to my knowledge anyway) that was really bad (though chocobo's dungeon was terrible, but i've always hated the series)
i think squareenix's first game was star ocean: til the end of time? (i think i would have to look it up) but that was an awesome game. FFXII was awesome too....

Did anyone hear? Square Enix announced that they, "announced FFXIII too early and production is still in early stages" haha i thought that was funny, all the hype and boom! it might not even come out til 2010 haha!

i think you all expect way too much from some companies, no one makes pure gold games, they all have those horrid evil lets forget games

atleast their triyng new things

I hope they'll continue more and more Dragon Quest and Drakengard.
