ORLY ? Ever play GTA IV ? ^ . Funny thing was temp for quad isn't that much different than the temp for dual core. Can't wait till my new heatsink come in so I can crank it up pass 4.0ghz

. Right now I am running 3.6 ghz(df is 2.83ghz) on stock cooler.

and an antec1200? damn you make me jealous! i have a antec900 and i still love it!
I never own the antec 900 but I think it would be small for me since I own a CM 690 and it's just isn't big enough. This antec 1200 have 12 bays I can just make it a server and load 12 hard drives in there with fans on each 3 bay which cool the hard drive quite good ^^. I also like the inside, plenty of room and best of all the top where the motherboard end and the big fan, it's have space for me to work with instead of like my old 690 case barely have space there to move around ^^ .

the "bottle necking of the harddrive" as you call it. probably might be your cables or connection to the mobo and from to the harddrives. make sure its a good cable and that the GB/s capabilities are set in your mobo's BIOS.
My cable come w/ the hard drive, since I bought it retail anyway, WD ftw

. I mean if I free up the drive a little bit, it will transfer at 60MB/s, the only time when it reach 80MB/s+ transfer rate is when drive is free up at 50% or was it 80% . I guess that is normal but it does lag once in a while, not like how it is used in the old motherboard. Like if it log into window and not done loading those icon in the task tray and I fire up a program, it gonna start to hang there longer than if I waited for those program in the task tray finish loading their butt up, then start the program.
