I watched this one cause Ingzels mentioned it in the Kung Fu Panda thread.
I read the plot summary in IMDB and thought, 'hey that looks kinda interesting'...
The first scenes were pretty cool, like when the people jumped off the building and when the lady pierced her neck with her hair pin. I was thinking, 'hey this movie is pretty scary in a way'.
Then people started to panick around and all and there were no more gore scenes or people getting killed. Finally they seperate and run in the fields and I felt the whole 'running from the wind' idea being a bit cliche.
After that part it started being a kind of love story lol. I was like 'wtf... lame' and the ending was pretty lame too.
I felt that it had a decent beginning but as the story progressed it started to go downwards (steeply) and well, sucked. The guy, that chick and that child should have died too (chance for an alternative ending in the DVD edition?) and there should have been more gore-y scenes such as people blowing out their brains etc.
Even the ending where it 'happens again' was cliche'd.
Being the second M.N.S. movie I've watched (the other being 'The Village'), I'm starting to feel like his movies suck. They're not thriller like how the genre says it is. They're really over-hyped and are not scary at all. (1408 being the other movie I watched recently - was that a horror movie or what?)
