I suggest the rank is determined by the number he/she posts at the forum..
And he/she will gets additional point by uploading/downloading something..
In my point if view, even a leecher who just downloads from this forum is still
a potential contributor.. U get what i mean?

I was messing around a bit with three different aspects surrounding music... From top to bottom: Music characteristics and pieces (you could say); Nobody -> Super Performance; Instruments and sound devices. Hierarchy is supposed to go from top (lowest) to bottom (highest) as well. I realise the order is quite my personal view of things, and some titles may not really fit at all for someone else's taste. Personally, I like it a lot when there is some variation in the system, like I tried to do by mixing Instruments and sound devices or stuff on stage with stuff beside the stage (2.), and not everything follows one another as you would expect it.

Recommendation on numbers:
0-19 rank1
20-49 rank2
50-99 rank3
100-199 rank4
200-349 rank5
350-599 rank6
600-999 rank7
1000-1499 rank8
1500-2499 rank9
2500-... rank10
etc.
